Snowmobiling

Riding a snowmobile is a wonderful way to experience the entire Malå area. The nature is magnificent and varied.

What applies to everyone who uses or is near the winter trails is:

Respect – show consideration for others.
Right of way – snowmobile riders must always yield to skiers, pedestrians, dog sled teams, etc., even on designated snowmobile trails.

It is of the utmost importance that everyone using the winter trails shows consideration and respect for one another, for nature, and for wildlife. Read more about the Right of Public Access (Allemansrätten) via the link.

You do remember to purchase your trail permit, right?

The fantastic Malå Snowmobile Club, in cooperation with the local villages, builds and maintains the municipality’s winter trail system entirely on a voluntary basis—everything from clearing work and bridge building during the summer to marking, signage, and trail grooming in winter. The trail permit is crucial for ensuring that this infrastructure and community engagement can continue in our area.

Family permit: 250 SEK

Thank you in advance—together for the Malå community!
