The Rågmjölsvägen Trail
Rågmjölsvägen is a long-distance hiking trail of approximately 93 kilometers, stretching between Bastuträsk and Malå. With origins dating back to the 16th century, it is one of the region’s most historically significant routes.
During the 18th and 19th centuries, the trail was widely used to transport goods such as flour and other supplies from the coast to the inland areas. Today, Rågmjölsvägen offers a unique blend of natural scenery and cultural history, allowing hikers to follow in the footsteps of traders and travelers from earlier times.
