Paws of Björnlund

Björnlund is a small husky village in the municipality of Malå. It consists of our family home, a guesthouse, and a dog area with several small kennels that serve as warm resting places for our four-legged friends.

What began as a love for dogs and the silence of Lapland has become a way of life – a place where people and animals live and work in harmony with nature. Our vision has never been to create a tourist attraction, but rather a place where sled dogs can live, train, and develop their natural abilities. To us, sustainability means taking responsibility – for nature, animals, and people. That is why we prioritize quality over quantity, respectful tourism, and authentic mushing far removed from shows and commercialized experiences.

Our work brings together three worlds:

Professional sled dog sport

Authentic husky experiences

Nature-based mentorship

We want to share our passion for sled dogs, the magnificent nature of Lapland, and the tangible sense of freedom with you. Our tours are not ordinary tourist activities; they are community-building experiences where you stand side by side with our canine athletes. In addition to activities with our huskies – suitable for adults, children, and families – we also offer:

Hiking and retreat experiences

Kayak rental

We also offer accommodation on our farm, with a guest cabin for up to six people.
