Paws of Björnlund

Björnlund is a small husky village in the municipality of Malå. It consist only of our residential house, a guesthouse, and a dog area with several small dog huts that serve as warm resting places for our four-legged friends.

What began as a love for dogs and the silence of Lapland has become a way of life: a place where people and animals live and work in harmony with nature. Our vision has never been to create a tourist destination, but rather a place where sled dogs can live, train, and develop their natural abilities. For us, sustainability means taking responsibility—for nature, animals, and people. That is why we focus on quality over quantity, respectful tourism, and genuine mushing far removed from show and commercialism.
