Koppsele Hiking Trail

The Koppsele Hiking Trail is a scenic, marked path through the nature reserve leading to Koppsele, believed to be one of the oldest Sami settlements in Malå.

The settlement itself is an open glade by the Malån river, surrounded by dense, uniform pine forest, offering a unique glimpse into the area’s cultural history.

The trail combines natural beauty with historical insights, featuring information boards at the turning area at Bölevallen and along the path. Hiking the Koppsele Trail offers a mix of exercise, nature, and a connection to the region’s past.

Directions: The trail is located approximately 15 km northwest of Malå. From the end of the road at Bölevallen, a path leads directly to the nature reserve.
