Geo Trail

The Geo Trail begins above the entrance tower in Malå and is approximately 500 meters long. Along the trail, two information boards explain the area’s geology, including topics such as glacial erratics and pillow lava. The trail offers an accessible introduction to the geological processes that have shaped the landscape.

For those who wish to extend the walk, the trail can be continued for another approximately 500 meters, where it connects to a forest road that leads back to the entrance tower in Malå, forming a pleasant loop. Please note that the beginning of the trail is quite steep in some sections. The Geo Trail is a popular and educational excursion in a scenic natural setting.
